sometimes its all about comfort nursing and wanting to be w/mama... I remember going back to work w/ds - I'd pick him up and nurse him at dcp.

I agree w/ Gigi, it may be as much about reconnecting with momy as it is about the milk.

I don't think in these situations it's a comfort thing - because he gets so upset when the milk flow slows...
I'm a FTM so I'm definitely not an expert, but everything I've read/advice I've received tells me that you are always making milk and you actually make milk faster when your breasts are emptied - my point being I'm not sure if waiting 3 1/2
