When do I pump?

I am going back to work FT in 1 month. I want to build up a stash, just in case. I am planning on pumping at least twice while I am working. What is the best method for me to build up my stash? Erick feeds currently every 2 to 3 hours and empties the breast. I have tried pumping that breast afterwards and get drops only. He only feeds on one breast at a time.

Any suggestions or helpful hints would be great. Thanks!

Remember, you don't need a huge stash before going to work.

Erick feeds about every 3 hours, so I am thinking I will need to pump the other breast while he is feeding, or right afterwards. So, when he feeds the next time, do I offer the pumped breast or the one he just feed on?

I am very fortunate, I will be working from home when I return to work, and he will be going to daycare.

You could always try pumping both breasts about an hour after he feeds, which gives you time to build up more before his next feeding.
