Who has been to a "conference"?

How many of us here have been to one of the many birthmark conferences they now hold?  I'm seeing more and more of them (there are yearly ones held by two major foundations and I know individual hospital/centers hold theirs as well). 

When Melissa was little, we'd go to Family Day that NYU used to host (haven't been in years, so I'm not sure if they still hold one).  It was nice meeting so many other families and since we'd already BTDT, I'd look for children who were in similar situations as Melissa and introduce ourselves.
