I'm so glad that she's ready to leave the hospital, and hope that she continues to improve this well:

Good for her. I hope her recovery continues to progress. As an aside, I need to refrain from reading comments on news stories re:Sarah. It is appalling to me how nasty people can be because her parents fought a system they deemed unfair. I know people have differing opinions on the matter, but the hate and vitriol shows everything that is wrong with our society, IMO.

I completely agree, I have a hard time reading the comments on any stories such as this or about special needs. People just have no compassion anymore.

Oh, MA, I *completely* agree!  I've only followed this story peripherally because it is so upsetting to me that so many people today see no value in a life that isn't perfect.  I am very happy for this little girl though, and her situation makes me so grateful for how well Paige is doing.  And I think her parents are heroes for fighting for their daughter and then putting up with so much negative publicity.  That is such a nightmare to me.
