I am pleased about this news, but it is bittersweet. It comes too late for too many. I am hopeful for the future, but sad for those we have lost too soon.

That is awesome news. I saw on facebook that the CFF posted this link and there were some people posting that the drug would cost like $100,000 a year or something obscene like that. I never got the full story, but seriously...if I had to work 2 jobs to get Emily on a medicine that would work, I would totally do it!

The cost has always worried me. I hate that some people can't get the treatment they need, for CF or snything else, because of cost. We already worry because Sarah has Medicaid until she's 18 because she was considered a special needs adoption, but once she's 18 and it ends we are afraid of what our insurance will and won't cover. Then once she's off of that...then what? C
