Sarah cultured a new bug

At her clinic appt. last week, she cultured stenotrophomonas maltophilia. Its a very uncommon bacterium but is being seen increasingly in people with CF. They don't do anything differently to treat it than most bacteria and she was put on augmentin because of a cough even before the culture came back. However, its drug-resistant, so we'll see.
