February 7 - 14 is Congenital Heart Defect Awareness Week. You can go to the TCHIN (The Congenital Heart Information Network) site for information. Also, please share with us if you know of any events in your area or if you are doing something to promote awareness week.

I won't be attending exactly. I did make a donation to the It's My Heart Keep the Beat walk this weekend in Houston. We have to help with a benefit for my brother-in-law that day so I am not walking. A heart friend has a team in the walk. We will also be at Texas Children's on the last day of CHD week, which is Valentine's Day, for Nick's cardiology visit. I think there will be some things we can catch up there.

I forgot that Nick's little brother will be doing Jump Rope For Hearts until he called and asked if I'd sponsor him. What do you think Nanny said? LOL
