The EIP evaluation was wonderful and it felt great to know we've finally found an advocate!

Hey Miriam, I wanted to say that I am SO glad that you were able to get her evaluated and are getting help through EIP!! That is great and some help is better than no help. Also with the whole diagnosis issue, sometimes our sweet kids are just hard to put under one diagnosis. I have been told 100 times in the last 21 months that only time can help some times. I know my daughter is currently undiagnosed, but everyone on her medical team agrees that something is genetically driving her issues. We don't think a diagnosis will come until she is 3 or 4, but that is because it gives the doctors time to see what she "grows out of" and what is around forever. I totally understand your determination to find out what "it" is. I live there too, I demand a lot from Madison's doctors and want that specific name that will help them care for her better!

Hugs friend, and I am sorry that you have so many unanswered questions. I pray you get answers soon! And again YAY on getting EIP all in place!!

Not having the diagnosis can be daunting since we all want to care of out children's needs the best we can, but with each additional test or exam I have to realize that we may never get one. Try to be patient, trust me I know that is hard. We just had more blood work done for Rae and are playing the waiting game again with no promise of an answer.
