3 days a week. He misses our school cut off by 2 weeks and there are NO EXCEPTIONS... (well except private K and 1st grade). SO he'll go to a 5 day a week pre-K program next year. He is starting to read, adds, will show you he can count to 101, is beginning to write - though his name is long enough and his writing is big enough he can never fit it on the paper! lol.

Went to the dentist yesterday and FINALLY got Xrays accomplished -- he always gags on the film! Ugh.

He is learning the aspects of being friends and whether or not it's worth playing with someone - even if THEY always want to be first or finding someone else who wants to play what he wants a few times. My friends and I always struggle about how much to intervene in these things! Ugh. Yesterday we were watching our sons *share* or not. Ben had 4 ppower rangers.. warren wanted one. Ben finally gave him one... but of course it was the WRONG one. eventually Warren had TWO power rangers - and Ben had two - Warren even had the coveted one adn he was still saying Ben wasnt sharing. SO then Warren's mom said if they couldnt share maybe they should put them away - well that made warren happy and ben sad. I had no clue how much to intervene. What it finally boiled down to is Warren wanted to play WITH Ben... after it all they didnt end up playing together anyhow! Ugh.

Ben can be moody - but oh so loveable! :-)

I struggle with when to intervene as well. It's so hard sometimes.

Thanks for sharing Ben. I think it's great that he shared, even got Warren the one he wanted. Though I didn't agree w/ Warren's mom *L* Ben was sharing Warren was not. Maybe Warren should have picked a different toy to play with :)

It sounds like Ben was sharing very well. I always like to stay out of it as much as possible, the kids eventually work things out. I only get involved if somebody starts hitting.

It sounds like he will be very well prepared for kindergarten by the time he goes, that really isn't a bad thing. My 2nd son had to wait a year & socially I think it was the best thing, he is so much better adjusted than his older brother who started early.
