It's HOT here!  My kiddos are starting to complain about being bored... and, well, to be honest... I'm tired from trying to entertain them every day!  How are you all holding up?  How are you all staying active and happy this summer? :)

I had a rule that if you said the word bored, you got chores. I am not the entertainment committee nor the cruise director. We did stuff all summer, zoo, library, love doing the little museums and the big ones. But, they had to find their own things. It is healthy to get bored and use imagination to fill the time. Now with teens, they are gone mostly!

I love your take on this, Ramona! We've done a lot already this summer- two Vacation Bible Schools, bowling, movies, library, Home Depot Kid CLub projects, camping, tons of swimming, etc. I think I just feel guilty as I work at home during the day. Landon, my 4 yr old, is the hardest to keep happy. He wants my attention 24/7 it seems. Now Jacob, my 12 year old, is happy to do his own thing all day!
