We had our families over yesterday for Alex's b'day.

Happy Monday! We had a pretty okay weekend. We had a picnic for Scouts on Saturday. Larry packed our big BBQ in the back of the truck but it fell out on the way there. The BBQ grill hit the side of his truck, denting it and scratching it in several places. The BBQ grill is also just smashed. UGH! Not good! I need to call the insurance company today to see what we can do about it.

Sunday we did work around the house. Larry mowed the lawn and I worked on laundry. Larry also took the boys to the dollar movies.

This is a busy week! We have 3 doctor appointments and I just signed the boys up for VBS. Hopefully they'll have fun!

I'm glad that Alex had a nice party and that he likes his gifts. When is his actual birthday? Did I miss it?

Thanks....

I called the insurance company and it will cost us about $250 to get the damage fixed and to get up to $200 to replace the grill. Better than nothing but it sure wasn't in the budget right now. Always works that way, doesn't it? Grrr!

I know exactly what you mean! Hard to make one when things are stretched thin as it is.... Oh well, maybe one day? ;)
