Hi Laura! Thanks so much for introducing yourself. My boys are 7, 6 and 15 months old. My oldest will be turning 8 in 2 months. He is very anxious to turn 8 as it will allow him to be out of his booster seat and he is looking very forward to that.
Your boys are so very handsome. Fifteen and thirteen are important ages. How are they liking school this year? Are they both in highschool this year or is only Lucas?
I'll check back again soon. Nice to meet you Laura.

Welcome! Love your sig, beautiful family! I look forward to getting to know you.

I'm a stay at home mom of 2 and one on the way! I have Dawson who is 3 1/2 and autistic, Tyler just turned 2 and has been battling Leukemia since 4 months old. I'm also due on April 4th with a boy. My OB is inducing early though since I have huge babies. Our life is pretty hectic!

Hi Stephanie,
so nice to meet you and I'm so sorry to hear about both diagnosises your kids have. I can only imagine how hectic life must be. We're in a bit of a bunch too. My SO has colon caner right now. He was diagnosed last August. It has spread to his lymph nodes and right now he is doing chemo. He's been through so much - we all have. In 2005, I was diagnosed with breast cancer,. I did chemo, had a mastectomy and then did radiation. We have been hit so hard - it's too much. We are hopeful that SO will recover and we will be able to put this behind us. Unfortunately, we've been told that SO will fight this again in five years. Not exactly new we wanted to hear. Everyday is a gift!
Hold those little boys tight. They are true miracles.

Sorry to hear that! I hope your SO will recover fully and be done with it for good! We were told in January that Tyler might be relapsing. They're going to do another biopsy next month to see what's going on. Nothing in the bloodwork yet, so hopefully they'll find clean marrow at the next one! It's such a scary thing to do through.

Hi Shari!

It's great to see you here! I'm so glad to hear the SO is fighting the good fight still but I hate to hear that you'll address this again in 5 years. I hope we know more then and things will be easier for all of you by then.

Having all boys can be a challenge but I can't imagine life w/o my two guys. They're currently 8 and 11 and growing up way too quickly. I forgot that you were teaching the boys French. I think that's great. Mine want to learn Japanese - if only I knew some!

Hi Shari! Welcome to the board. I love coming here and sharing my "boy" stuff. LOL

I'm Lisa, mom to three boys (Ben 13, Alex 10, and Nathaniel aka Than 4). My DH is currently overseas for a year so I am solo parenting for the time being which is always a challenge!

You have a beautiful family! I'm sorry to hear of your DH's diagnosis. Prayers and healing thoughts to him. Congrats to you for being a survivor! I look forward to getting to know you and your guys better. :-)
