I know it is fairly early to be thinking about this but my boys will be out of school in 7 weeks (!).

I'm expecting my boys to do a whole lot of nothing this summer!

Ben and Alex will have Boy Scout camp the third week of June. We are all involved in Bible School in some way and that is in July.

We were supposed to be going to the beach the last week of June. It doesn't look like DH will make it home then and I had some issues getting the time off at work, so it looks like I will be cancelling that in the near future. :-( I do have plans to go camping a couple times and when we find out when Chris will be home, we may try to plan something else around that.

As for day to day, it's up in the air. The biggest thing will be getting friends over here for Nathaniel to play with. The big boys kind of come and go with their friends as long as I'm not working that day. We also have a pool in the backyard which is a big help in the summer.

Lisa, how long is your DH coming home for? Is it just a break or is he coming home for good?

Kristy, it will just be for a break. He was planning on coming home in late June but that isn't the case. We don't really know when he will be able to get leave at this point. Whenever it is, he'll probably be home for about 2 weeks.

I'm so glad he gets to come home for a break. It seems like there is a lot of uncertainty regarding this mission of his- how stressful for you all! I hope that when he gets here you have a wonderful time together!

Thanks Kristy! I've learned that nothing is set in stone and I might as well be flexible or go insane. LOL I do better some days than others with that issue!
