My Mom came and stayed with us yesterday, she witnessed blueness episodes. Thank God cause I thought I was going crazy. Charlie had three episodes of blueness yesterday in the first three hours he was awake. I rushed him to see the pediatrician for the third one and she was able to see this. He was possibly cyonotic at 88%. (not getting enough oxygen)

She sent us to the ER where they redid all the tests and ran some more bloodwork. X-ray fine, no cyonotic episodes (all above 95%) and a slightly elevated white blood cell count.

They sent us home with a Holter Monitor that will measure his heart for 24 hours. Charlie is being a good sport about having all the wires attached to this little machine I carry. He thinks we are chasing him and is having a blast. DH's mom is here today and she saw Charlie's episode today. I am soooooo glad he had an episode with the monitor on. Now maybe something has been recorded.

We go see the pediatric cardiologist on Monday at 1:00pm.

There is a good chance this is nothing. That's what the doctors keep telling me. So, we wait and see. I am still optimistic, although I did break down and cry in the pediatricians office.

Wow Carol!!! I'm glad to hear they are taking quick action to try to figure out what the problem is. Many prayers that it is something minor & "easy".
