It can hit triple digits but not that often. We had several weeks of hot, over 85, and more often than not humid. Usually, it is over by mid September.

It's always exciting when your sport of choice starts up for the season! Bummer that his game was cancelled. Hopefully they had better luck with the score on the second day.

How hot does it get in Chicago? We've had a record high year- 70 days over 90 and something like 14 in the triple digits this summer. I can't imagine not having air in the schools!

Not a college fan here, but 35 days to the new NHL season!!  I am excited to watch the Hawks lift the banner to the ceiling!!   Ds was to have his first football game of the season, but it was cancelled due to a storm, so it will continue tomorrow.  They were losing 6-2!!

In Chicago area, pretty normal. The high school has 4 main floors and a small 5th and 6th floor, those had to be really bad!!

I lived through my first night of class, and my second night of class. It's going to be a bit of a crazy semester I think! One more night of class tonight... and then I'll have a few days off.

Oh my goodness!  I can't imagine sitting in a room without air conditioning all day!  Is that normal for your area?

Lack of sleep makes for long days. I hope you sleep well. Good luck in your class. We are getting back in the swing if things. It is HOT for the first week of school. Ds is really sweating through football practices after a day in an un-air conditioned school. Dd is glad she has air in her dorm.

I didn't sleep well last night so I'm kind of dragging today. I have class tonight too. My first one of the semester. Eek! I'm always nervous walking into class for the first time.
