Zak is in kindergarten and he is intense. He asks the most challenging questions like-"Can men get married?" "Why do people die" "Where is God and why do we pray" He keeps me on my toes. He also is a natural athlete which he does not get from me-the biggest klutz in the world. He loves to learn and he is very sensitive. He is my child most like me and we fight constantly. I told my stepmother last night that we are like 2 stags in a National Geographic special-always clashing heads. He loves his stuff animals and likes to sleep with one of his blankets. He is very loyal and watches out for us. When we go to the park, he wants to know where I am at all time.
He is very funny and stubborn. Last week, the tree trimmers came to our house and destroyed our trees. He was really upset and crying. Later, I could not find him (I was busy trying to get the steak knife my toddler got when he climbed up on the kitchen counter). I found him outside holding a sign he made that said NO. He was holding it where the tree trimmers could see it. My heart just melted. Later in the week, we passed the tree trimmers on different street and he stuck his tongue out on them. He has a vendetta.
