From a 10 year old boy's perspective

5:25 a.m. Wake up enough to realize I'm cold. Get up and crawl into parent's bed, .

5:45 a.m. Wake up due to dad's alarm going off and instinctively say "I'm hungry" but go back to sleep.

6:00 a.m. sort of wake up because Dad's gotten out of bed, snuggle up to Mom

6:15 a.m. stretch and start to wake up because I'm truly hungry; Mom gets up quickly and I hear her go to the basement.

6:20 a.m. Greet Mom with a big hug in the kitchen after she's put a load of clothes in the dryer and say "Pineapple, pear, Cheerios, yogurt, Flaxseed oil is all out for breakfast" (When I was a little kid my Mom took the time to figure out I could eat yogurt but milk doesn't agree with me).

sounds like a nice morning. I love snuggling with my DS first thing in the AM.

Yeah, there's something comforting about it. You still feel connected. GRIN, plus it buys you a few extra minutes in bed, LOL!
