Just curious if you guys think I will be "ruining" my child by leaving her tonight for the first time ever.

Honestly, no, I don't think you'll ruin her at all. It's not like you're leaving her with a stranger, you're leaving her with daddy for a night. She might miss you, she might fuss, but equally she might do really really well and enjoy some daddy time.

My son is a terrible sleeper and always has been so I know how you feel!
At this point, your milk supply is established so a night away is not going to do any real harm there.

The only word of caution I would offer is to say when you do go to your parents, DON'T WORRY AND FRET! The first night I spent apart from my son, I barely slept lol

Your daughter will be with her daddy who loves her as much as you do and she will be safe and happy.

get some sleep and be easy on yourself

What about doing EBM so your DH can be more involved in the night feedings on the weekends?

Oh Marie, I'm so sorry it went badly and you're still exhausted (I really really do know how you feel and it sucks).

Please don't beat yourself up about it though (and again, I know how hard that is)

Are you able to nap during the day at all? Or take a few early nights and go to bed when she does? Just to get some sleep?

Would it be possible for someone to take Jane during the day and you get some rest (or go for a massage or something relaxing)?

you must be exausted! i really hope she starts sleeping better soon.

have you considered making bed time later? how many naps does she take?

my baby hasnt moved to one nap yet. he sleeps once around 12 for 1hour+1/2 and then he will sleep like 30 min. around 6 pm. i try to get him in bed around 9 so our bedtime routine starts at 8 with bath-food-book-songs-prayers-nursing.

he does wake up at night but twice at the worst.

im just saying this cuz maybe she isnt ready for bed at 7?

you know better than me though...
