Hello everyone!

I just wanted to introduce myself, I'm Julie and DH (Kenny) and I are lucky enough to be parents of DS Logan who was born in October 09.

I was reading the "What is attachment parenting" section just before and said to DH, WOW... that's exactly us! LOL... it was just what came naturally to us.

Anyways, I just thought I'd say hello, I hope everyone is doing well :)

Welcome Julie!

It's amazing when mommy's follow their instincts it always seems to lead them to AP!

This is a slow moving board but everyone here is wonderful and full of great advice.

We constantly mention that there are probably a lot of people out there practicing AP and have no clue that it has a name :) I'm glad you found us!!!

Did you ever not AP and found that

Thanks for the welcome everyone!

We actually just started parenting the way we felt was best and then one day I was reading up on different parenting techniques and found that attachment parenting described exactly what we were doing!

DH and I are "laid back" type people, we're not normally stressed people and I think that reflects in what we do as parents. We don't follow tried and true advice unless it works for us... we do try to listen to what Logan (DS) needs. Whether it's starting cereal at 12 weeks or letting him nurse to sleep!

I hope to hear from you all and hope to learn from those BTDT Mom's!

Hope everyone had a great weekend!
