Mastitis? Really??!

If you've read my post below, you know that I've been b/f and pumping for almost a year now. I've been pretty lucky in that, aside from the first couple weeks, it's been pretty easy for me. Until now. 
I'm pretty sure I have mastitis. It hurts soooooo bad! I have a doctor's appointment later this afternoon to hopefully get some antibiotics but does anyone have any other tips for me?
So much for it being most likely to happen in the first six months!

Oh no! You poor thing! What did the doctor say yesterday? Don't be afraid to ask for stronger pain meds if you need them too. I was lucky and never got mastitis so I don't have any personal experience but I did just read an article about it the other day, actually:
