OK I have a 19month old that I have been slinging from the beginning. First I used an origanl baby sling brand one that was my mothers for my 16 yr old and subsiquint siblings. Still worked good padding was just a little shot. Then I bought just a basic sling I think the dr. sears brand one from babies r us and love the better padding, oh i should have got it sooner. But anyways my problem has always been carrying a diaper bag and now just a purse when wearing him as it always seemed to slip off my shoulder. I have another on the way in january and was wondering if maybe a different style bag would help before we get our new bag for this one.
Any input would be appreciated, thanks,
heidi

I have a large fanny type bag that I use it belts around my waiste and I added a shoulder strap. I put the shoulder strap on my non sling shoulder and then slide the bag under ds or dd's butt while carrying them. It gives me hands free and them a seat.

I have the newer Maya with the little sewn in pouch, just big enough for a disposible diaper, wallet and keys.

I switched from a diaper pack to a diaper bag about 9 months ago.

I'm not sure what a "diaper pack" is?
