My DD#3 is 10 months and is off the charts for length, but 63% for weight.

I have an Action Baby Carrier that I have had a 19lb one year old, a 21-22lb almost 2, and my DS who is 31 lbs and 35.5 inches tall (at 19 months) in it. They all fit just fine in it, snug as could be. They all basically "sat" on my hips with their legs out front (cause I did back carries with all of them). My son's head is about even with mine (he can almost rest his chin on my shoulder), and the 2 littler ones were right about on my shoulders, perfect to lay down and cuddle (which they did, I'm so hoping for a girl next time, lol). I keep meaning to get pics and keep forgetting. It goes to 40lbs, so may not work for the older two, but should last DD3 for a while. HTH some.

The world of soft carriers is nearly endless.

I loved my Catbird Pikkolo and my Beco B2. and as Julianna said, for different reasons and in different situations. I'm not a huge Ergo fan either, altho if I were still wearing, I might be tempted by the new Petunian Picklebottom ones, they're so pretty! I just see a lot of kids riding so low because they don't really get the "close enough to kiss" concept....but at least the kid isn't in a crotch dangler!
