I agree, I think kids are too wired these days. It is amazing how quick even the youngest kids pick it all up. Rory has her own Ipod Touch (not my idea!) and it has a text messaging app on it, I think you can only text to other Apple devices. She will text me from her bedroom when I am downstairs to ask me a question!

my friend bought her 4yo granddaughter a kindle for her b-day. That's only because the granddaughter had totally taken over her iphone and was playing games. the other day the 4yo figured out how to "buy" stuff on amazon for one of her games. Grandma was getting messages about some purchases. Good grief. Grandma was quick to put password protection on stuff and make sure the 4 yo couldn't have access any longer. I hate to see what the 2 yo will be doing in a couple of months. and yes, he's already got a a few electronics and is digitally wired....

DS doesnt really have as much as the other kids his age (10)...on a school trip EVERYONE hade somthing..it was jsut "not right"...
