Conferences
Find a Conversation

I had conferences with my son's preschool teachers. He goes there part time and he goes to a special education program for preschoolers through the public school system for a speech delay. Before all this craziness, I was at home with him most of the time. It's been a big adjustment for all of us. An adjustment that I am loving, and that he is finally thriving in thanks to NHA. Any way I had a conference with his preschool teacher which went good. He's doing so much better. He's no longer roughing up his three year old friends. There are still some issues. Apparently, him and his friends think it's hilarious when my son pours his milk all over his lunch tray. I probably shouldn't have laughed when they told me this. I guess we have to keep a sense of humor. Anyway, I turned every situation around by modeling how I would like them to handle it using NHA. I brought the book in so they could see it. I am considering buying them a copy of the book. Has anyone, ever done this? How do you impart NHA to teachers who haven't heard of NHA. I'll be going to another conference with the public school teacher soon, so I'm definitely going to need some NH ammo.
Thanks,
Selma
Congrats on all of the accomplishments!

Thanks guys!!! I like the outline. I'm definitely going to do the book idea, and the outline. I think the outline is a great idea. I'm an intern therapist in the social work program, and if you all don't mind I may borrow the outline for that to.
Thanks.
