Okay, I'm going to beef up a couple of ideas that have been going on here.... 1) I made a calendar this year with the intent of putting pics on the top half of fun things we've done that month (which can leave it blank for the bulk of the month if we don't take pics) but I'm going to make sure we take more pics and get them up there! and 2) I have index cards by the dining room table where we're suppose to make one each day and share what we did that day. We haven't been great at sticking with that either but I will! (The idea for that one is to make a card for each day and then every year, you add more to that card. I won't push to do it every day but I will push it more often!)
Thanks for always being around to inspire me, Jan!
I made a little box for the cards out of card stock that I keep the index cards in. The plan is to just keep reusing them and then on Jan 1, we can look back and see we did this or that and what we're doing these days. Sort of like:
These all sound like wonderful ideas....I know in school to "make" the parents and kids tlak about their day ..the kids write in a journal...well it is called a News Book...they write a letter to their parents about thier week and the parents are to write back.
