Notes - to and from school

A lot of teachers are starting off the new school year by sending notes to last year's students and/or their new classroom of students in hopes of getting everyone off to a great start.
What if we as parents were to do the same to the teachers? And take it one step further -- send a note of GREATNESS to the teacher every month? Could it make a difference?
