I know most of us are hanging out on the "All Boys" board since these two boards have become temporarily unmerged (BTW, ALL are welcome over there, even if you don't have all boys) but I thought I'd start a discussion here too in case anyone is around. Smile

So, tell us about yourself! How many boys are in your family? Any girls as well? Pets? As for me, I have two boys ages 9 and 13 but they both have birthdays coming up in the next few weeks. We have two cats who are also boys. Laughing I grew up as an only child so I had zero experience with boys comiing into motherhoood but I wouldn't trade it for the world!

Hey, Lisa. I have 4 kiddos in all and one granddaughter.  Tyler (19), Kristen (18), Kolby (10) and Riley (6). Brooklynn is 2.  We have 2 cats. We live in Texas and have been enjoying some great unseasonable cooler weather this beginning of July.

Actually, I only have 3 male siblings. Including myself, there are 8 children (not all from the same parents), mostly girls. My cousins on my dad's side are all girls. My dad's first three kids were girls (I'm the oldest). So, what did I plan on having when I decided to have kids? Boys!! Girls in my family tend to be anywhere from a little odd to full blown crazy so I wanted to have all boys. But now that I only have 1 child (a boy) and my husband has two boys from a previous relationship (three if you count his first son who died from SIDS after only a month; also, the boys don't live with us) I'm kinda hoping to have a girl. I wanted only boys because the males in my family are easier to raise, but I walk past the frilly little dresses and pink onesies and little Mary Jane shoes and say, "Oooohhhh!"

I wouldn't mind having a girl now. My husband has wanted a girl for a long time. We vowed to keep trying for a girl but if, after 5 we don't have one, he said it'll still be ok. God bless him. I love my little moosling and my husband and still melt when I see him playing with our baby boy. Still want a girl, but boys are ok too. :)
