possible moment to head to the bathroom? It seems as tho Rachel waits until she's 'dribbling' before she even starts for the bathroom! It's driving me NUTS. I was running late this morning, and trying to give meds when she does the knees together half run/walk move to the potty. Of course she didn't make it, she wet herself and had to be changed completly. She KNOWS she has to go..she just waits until it's too late to get there.

How do I solve this?

Abby does this too so I started reminding her every few hours to go to the bathroom. She hasn't had any "accidents" for quite a while but with summer coming up and lots of outside playtime, we'll just have to see what happens. I am hoping that by reminding her every few hours, it will sink in that she needs to go before it gets to the point where she can't make it.

Well, my girls don't have that problem but my boys do. They wait until they are hopping and pinching. I have to constantly remind them to go to the bathroom. It drives me crazy too.

Or, they will ALL wait until we get into a restaurant---AAAARRRRRGGGGG!

My daughter does this too!! I try to remind her often, but then I think about her visiting her dad, and he won't think to remind her to go potty...so, I wonder if I should avoid it now.

Hey Lisa, Catherine doesn't wait until dribbling, but I can usually tell when she has to go, because she starts doing a little "Dance". I'll say "do you have to pee?" and that reminds her. I think they get so busy that they forget to listen to their body. What I tend to do is ask her about every two to three hours.

Oh, and I do notice that she tends to pee at certain times, so if she hasn't gone in a while, then I make sure to "encourage" her to go to the bathroom.
