We like to buy the black tube of Chapstick--you know the medicated one. It soothes horribly chapped lips and makes you feel better.

Blistex here. I find the little blue pot of Blistex works the best because it is medicated. I don't like Chapstick brand as I find it too waxy. I have one in my bedroom for before bed, one by the computer, one at work and two in my purse. LOL Guess that could be called addicted.

LOL! We are definite addicts here. Let's see, I have a cherry Chapstick in my purse, DH has a medicated Chapstick on his side of the stand in the hallway, we have a spare regular flavor Chapstick in the drawer, we have a Blistex in the bathroom

Now y'all are going to think I am crazy but we have special chapsticks. I have found that Chapstick is absolutely the best thing to put under your nose when you have a bad cold and have had to blow your nose alot, which causes that horrible red, dry skin from rubbing. It clears it right up.

Chapstick also helps that rash that babies get on their faces (that red bumpy dry skin stuff).

Chapstick also helps any kind of dry skin rash on faces.

I have even used chapstick on curling iron burns. Not the medicated kind, just the regular. I figure it helps lips, it can help other parts of the skin as well. And it works!

Great idea about the nose. Next time my DD has a cold and a snore nose from blowing I'll try it. I've tried using lotion, but it never really works. I would think as well putting it on before bed when it has a whole night to heal would be useful. Thanks for the tip. :-)
