Okay so tell us what your little darling wore or will wear for her first day of school. Did you go all out and buy some special outfit that would bring out the blues in her eyes or a special dress that would make her look so cute and "girly" or did you just grab whatever clean thing came up first from the laundry basket and think to yourself "OK, this will do"?

LOL, come on, tell us.

Haha. That's easy for me. Since my children are all homeschooled, I require that they at the very least have their teeth brushed, hair combed and breakfast eaten before we begin.

I do, however, go out and buy my kids some of the latest fashions so that when we go places they will feel and look good.

LOL, I homeschool too and I also require my kids to be at least dressed in something other than jammies along with the teeth brushed and hair brushed. Since their dad is home a lot in the mornings, he will sometimes fix breakfast while we do a subject or 2.

I also buy my kids some fashionable outfits for when we go out and about too. We don't get out much in the winter but we do go everywhere in warmer weather.

Well, I didn't buy it specifically for first day of school, but it was a fairly new outfit. A pair of black cotton pants she's only worn once and a blue flowered peasant blouse she's worn about twice. I got them on sale with the pants for $7 and the shirt for $4 in late July. But that's what she wanted to wear.

It is really hard to send her to school in a skirt because if they have gym that day they have to be "dressed appropriately". Its hard to play volleyball or soccer in a skirt. Gymnastics is worse. LOL She did wear a skirt today because its not a gym day, but usually its pants or shorts in warm weather.
