Hi, I'm Aubra, and I have *two* girls, one is 3 1/2 and the other is 18 months. Ellyotte Rose is my oldest, and Sammie Anne (Samantha Moranne, but thats too big a mouthful ROFL) is the little one.

I can't tell you how much fun it is to have girls - but omg are they hard! I can not believe how much they are like me. Am I the only one who has two girls who are even more stubborn and outspoken than they are?

Just to give you a taste of how my 3 yo Elly thinks, at her second birthday, she *refused* to open presents for 10 full minutes because I wouldn't let her color instead. She put her head on the table and everything. When we go to McDonalds, if I tell her she can only have a cheeseburger, and she wants a milkshake, she will *refuse* to eat anything. I tell ya, I never expected such an ornary little bugger - and she is only *THREE*

Can anyone tell me if it will get better? LOL

Oh yah, here are a few pics of my girls

Thanks for looking, and I hope to stick around :)

Oh yah, I guess I should tell you where I come from - I am the co-cl of the oct 01 pg, and I also post on 'The Balancing Act' and the Readers & Writers Channel Poets Workshop.

I can't wait to meet you all :)

WELCOME to the board. I have 2 girls as well. Rachel Nichole just turned 4 on the 19th of April and Victoria Lynne is 14 months.

They are a challenge and the pouting, stubborness is normal I think for this age range. It IS getting better, but it's definitly not at ideal yet.

I know this board is VERY slow right now...but alot of people have just disappeared since our new format change. Corinna (cl-lost_together) and I are trying our best to liven up the board...

Lisa with Justin (15) Rachel (4) and Victoria (14 Months)

Hi there Lisa :) I dont know about the ornaryness getting better. Her dad is ADHD and I worry she will turn out like him. I just try and keep an eye on her, and hope that she will learn. She really is a ham.

Don't worry about the slowness, things will smooth out. I know lots of other people with girls, and I don't mind telling them about you :) My question is, how is it raising a boy? LOL Elly keeps telling me I should trade her little sister in for a boy. I told her that wasn't an option.

Hey, how bout a game? I know a good one. Maybe that will bring the lurkers out *g*

I have one little girl, Kellianne, who just turned 5. *sigh* I also have two boys, the oldest, Josh, is 10, and Jacob will be 8 on May 3rd.

Kellianne has been such an easy and quiet child! Your daughter remeinds me an awful lot of my boys at her age, LOL! They were very strong-willed!

Glad to have you aboard!
