ears pierced. I found a place that will do both at the same time! She's SO excited. I'm terrified. I cry when we do shots, I can't imagine what this will be like. I plan on getting another pair of starters for me so that she can turn and clean mine while I turn and clean hers :-D

Wish us luck!

My first daughter was 4 when she got her ears pierced. I told her she couldn't cry and she was so excited that she DIDNT! They did the first ear and then lightning fast did the second ear. I was sooooo worried that we would only get one done and then she would break down. But she didn't.

I almost feel bad about this now, but my second daughter got her ears pierced when she was 4 MONTHS old. I really wanted it done, but then as soon as they did the first one and she WAILED uncontrollably, I became actually ill. I thought I would pass out. I cried and they kept going. She was fine a few minutes later.

Both of my girls LOVE their ears being pierced. My oldest can only wear solid gold earrings, but my youngest can wear anything. I keep studs in her ears most of the time so she wont lose them. Picking out earrings for all of us is sooo fun when we go out together.

I love having daughters. Good luck, and she will be just thrilled when they are done.

Thank you for the tip! I've got TONS of children's motrin since our Kmart went out of business here and they were like $1.00 a bottle! I wish I had some emla..i'd be numbing her ears for sure!

I'm going to do the 'diamond' like ones, not real ones. We were looking through a jewlery catalog last weekend and she LOVED the diamonds in there, I told her that would have to be her Sweet Sixteen Gift!

How cool!! I got both my girls' ears peirced for their third birthdays. You may want to get some tylenol for tonight around bedtime. My girls ears were a little sore the first night but they were fine after that. We have had no problems and earrings make the nicest gifts and incentives (especially for Sarah). Are you going to get them done with the traditional posts or something different? I got Sarah's done with the gold studs but I got Abby's done with diamonds(Yep,real ones)since it was her birthstone. I know it was a bit lavish but she is my baby and since I won't be having any more I splurged. LOL!
