I think it is disturbing the way people are sexualizing little kids!

I must admit that I find sexy underwear for children disturbing.

The panties themselves were not bad, but why do we need them modeled this way? Little girls don't understand the possibilities that come with being sexy and we are supposed to protect them. And I like what Moss said "why the big fuss over somethign that is worn under our clothes?". I remember walking through the undies section at our local store last year and I was surprised to see underwire bras in the girls section. I really thought the whole idea of an underwire bra was to push them up, and again do we really want our little girls being sexy so young? DH and I don't!!! and underwires don't seem to be a healthy choice for growing tissue.

I'm almost 70 yo and wouldn't normally be on this board but came looking for it based on seeing the same head-lines on my CNN news-page. I saw the headlines and thought, 'What the ( - ) is THIS all about'. However to me I didn't take the layout the same way others may see it. Putting the subject matter aside I saw it as a marketing gimmick to get attention by using questionable subject matter and that ploy worked since they got world wide attention. I have no doubt that their web-site was flooded by

Hi Tommy, You've made some good points. and I like the one about the original movie. Remember show short Shirley Temple dresses were and it was no big deal.

Sex has always sold, but that does not mean we need to continue exploiting kids. You could not make the shows I Love Lucy, because Ricky spanks her often, the Honeymooners because they threaten each other all the time, etc... Just because we used to things does not make it right. As to the little girls dresses, I don't see them as truely sexually exploitive, just frilly little girl dresses, but that may be just me.
