No to red lipstick - although I occasionally wear it myself. Maybe 18 or over unless it's a Hallowe'en costume.

No red lipstick for DD10 either. Dress up at home is okay or with a costume for halloween, but not to just go out in public. My favorite saying is "there is a time and a place for everything". And to me, they both feed depend on the other. I think children needs things to look forward to doing when they get older. Don't you remember the first time you got to wear high heels?

Not for a 7 year old at all......I don't believe in lipstick for a 7 year old at all.

Funnily enough, there was another article about red nail varnish for children. That doesn't bother me nearly as much. But then I don't mind nail varnish as DD wears it all the time.

I think I first wore high heels when I was in my last year of high school so aged 17-18. They were thick, four inch ones which don't sound so high these days! Before then the highest was about 1 inch!
