I would much rather give a donation equal to what I would pay for the fundraiser since 100% of the money goes to the organization.....and not the fund raising company which gets usually half of the amount that you spend. So many times I don't need what they are selling and the money is a better option for me! Plus with school, extra activities, scouts, and other groups using fundraising it's just a pain to sell so much and so often.
We do, but with out kids in school, sports, scouts, band and more, there is a limit. We don't spend too much on any one, but give some a little to them all.
