Surviving Girl Scout Cookie Season
Can you enjoy Girl Scout cookies without blowing your diet?

the surviving part for us comes with selling them. I honestly don't enjoy the selling part. But Monday is it for us and the sales are over!!!! :0) I like that DD10 enjoys girl scouts (but I don't know if I will ever go camping with her troop again - it dropped below freezing that night and I was in a tent!!!!) She needs something that is just hers and girl scouts seems to be just that for now.

I must admit that we really didn't sell much this year!

We bought some from another troop. Dd and her troop, (they are 16 and 17) help unload the cookies and such, but they don't choose to sell cookies this time or last year.

That's nice that the older girls get to choose what they'd like to do when it comes to selling cookies. Our leader isn't pushy about selling. It's up to the parents. I just don't love it. It's cold out big time this time of year so it's not nice to walk the neighborhood at all.

That's great that they can choose to sell or not to sell!

We also have the cold and we had freezing rain then snow about 2 weeks ago and Chicagoland is now an ice rink. It is aweful!!

We've got a prediction of 1/4 - 1/2 inches of ice and 1 - 3 inches of snow between 8 PM tonight and tomorrow night. I hate this winter....it just keeps coming and coming and coming!
