"Susan" or "Mrs. Jones": How Should Kids Address Adults?

How do your children address adults....and how do you like children to address you!?

We usually go with Ms. or Mr.- First name. Ms. Laura, Mr. Bruce, etc.
However, I'm starting to think this might just be a southern thing? I'll be interested to hear what others do!

HAving living in both the North and the south, it depends on the situation and who the people are. Our very close friends were known as Aunt and Uncle to our kids. In scouting we were Miss Sue and Mr. Dave. In school or situations where we didn't know the kids well, it was Mrs. Weber. But we never let our kids call adults by their first name.....it just didn't seem proper to us!
Mr., Mrs., or Miss and then the last name. It's the respectful thing to do. I don't want informal, casual address from children, including the kids in church and my daughter's friends. I think losing the titles (respect) puts adults and children closer to the same level in society, which is a downfall, if you ask me.
