I am so sorry if I was the one that offended you. I never once when responding to your post questioned your morality. I never even thought about that. I was simply thinking of the situation from my own family situation and my husband's opinion. He too, would not be comfortable.

I never meant to imply any negativity toward a simple situation. I was only trying to be practical from my point of view. Please stay with us. I am sure noone meant to be actually mean, it must have just struck a sensitive chord amongst some of the other posters.

Please, again, if I in some way was offensive in my original reponse, I apologize profusely. I was mad when I posted my second response because of the suggestion that I was discriminating against my daughters for the sake of some man's views.

I am sure, like everyone else here, we all make decisions on what is best for our children and they are our first priority.

Let's try again. We are all in this together after all.

Hi ThreeinTX!!

Rarely, RARELY do things get as..well, emotional, as they did in the panty thread. And I for one do NOT feel that you started anything! Because - I was planning on asking a similar question. In my recent reply to your post, I stated that my dh was asking about whether Catherine should go panty-less at night (I said no). And I was thinking of asking the women here.

A lot of people come from different backgrounds, cultures and moralities here. I have learned SO MUCH here. Please don't leave. Your post was not nasty, was not trollish, and was quite useful! That's what this board is here for! To ask honest questions about our daughters!!

Welcome to the board! Please continue to post!!!

Thanks for your message and no, I really didn't take your post the wrong way. I think just reading all those post at once and seeing some hostility really through me for a loop. I didn't realize my post was going to be so controversal! Raising a girl is hard enough w/o feeling like a crappy mom! I just need to learn to expect a wide range of opinions and advise when I ask a question! :)
