I saw this posted on the April 2007 playgroup and wondered what advice you would give this mom:

This weekend Rosie was a real handful.

I don't get the direct defiance like this with FSD10. But she doesn't like being wrong so she's learning to be argumentative. It gets old really fast!!! At least for me. Sometimes I'm simply trying to tell her that there is a different way of doing something and she resists. Seems silly to me. Anyway, I say just keep on her. If you can get through this time with a child, the next years should be easier and the child will be much better off in the long run. At the same time, I don't think we need to pick about everything.

I'm still having this problem with a teenager, but have found that if I tell her to do somethiing and she says no, then I give her a warning and a consequence if it is not done......like if you don't do this I am taking your computer for the entire day.".
