Do you do them yourself, hire an accountant or tax preparer, or get a friend or colleague

Just e-filed mine. Should be getting a refund in about 2-3 weeks. Its basically already spent. Our car needs major work and we have to pay off a few little bills. My DH also wants to get a shed.

I've always done our taxes myself. I have e-filed the last few years and it is so much easier than it used to be. My DH has some major dental work coming up so we will be using our refund this year to pay his dental bills and pay off all the medical (Ped., ER trips, etc.) that we owe. If there is any left than my van needs some work done. LOL! I wish I could say we were going to spend it on some fabulous tropical vacation. Ha...I'll just dream on.

Oh, if I could paint a big giant sad face on this post I would.

We are self-employed and we always OWE taxes.

We have an accountant that does them for us. He is excellent.

Our money is always spent before we earn it. LOL!

I do them, we usually just about break even within $200 either way.
