I know I've had MAJOR issues this week logging in.  This is the first time I can remember that i was able to post anything.  Just wondered if anyone was out there.

Let's trouble shoot again- what exactly happened (or didn't happen, LOL) when you attempted to log-in? Remind me what browswer you are using?

There are a couple different errors that I still get occasionally but each require a different "fix" so I wanted to see what was happening for you before I delve further. Smile

Lisa, I use a variety of browsers, and I get declined a log in on all of them on different days.  Sone days it's all of them that I can't log into.  not a single browser or platform, Mac, PC or ipad is reliable.  None of them salve my log in info, even though I cick it every time to remember me.  Many timedafter I enter my user info it tells me the page is not available.  I agree with Sue, seriously, what's the point any more.  It's just so unreliable, and frustrating.i might check once a week, but will be it.  Used to be two or three times a day.  Such a shame.

None taken Wink It's a good question.

The obivious answer of "it's my job" really only covers part of it. Honestly, I care because I really like you guys and I hate that I can't do much to help this situation. Since, personally, I do not have too many problems logging in and posting (::knocks frantically on wood::), I was hoping that if we troubleshooted a bit and compared browsers, etc we might could come upon a decent workaround while the tech team grinds on. I told someone the other day that I wished I could clone my system/computer and send it to all the members who are having issues.

The two main browsers I use are Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox and have a regular PC computer with windows XP. I DO have to enter my log-in information pretty often but it's not a huge deal in in the grand scheme of thigns. I also get a two different errors somewhat frequently that each require a different action to fix but those don't take too long.

If I get the error that says something to the effect of "you are not authorized to post", I simply wait - sometimes I literally count out loud- and the page will then refersh itself with my being logged in and able to post. In the rare chance that it does not refresh by itself, I click refresh.

If I get the error that says something like "the forum can't be found"- I have to reload the page from my bookmarks. SImply refreshing does not work.

I can even get subscriptions to work but only if I click "subscribe" immediately after posting. If I wait at all, it won't work. Undecided I also then have to click on "my suscriptions and bookmarks" on the right hand side of the page, then click "tab 2", then "edit" to change the send method to HTML emails. I do agree that part is a big pain in the butt.
