We went to look at the technical school our district has. They offer smaller classes, tutoring until 4:45 once a week, hands on classes even for the middle school kids, and they have a grade recovery program to make up failed classes. I think it would be a great place for Taylor but he was being a major butthead the entire time we were there. I made him apply and told him that if he fails 7th grade he is going there to get caught up to be able to join his friends at the regular high school in 9th grade. Why is this so hard?!

Y, that is scary.  It is a shame that some dumb people spoke out against shots and now this is happening.

Wow - that is a big change...how much weight have you lost, Karen? Thanks for the cleaner tip...does it work on windows/mirrors, or just surfaces? I'm thinking that might be a better bet than vinegar for the toilets. Does the borax bleach your clothes if you accidentally get some on yourself while cleaning?

That technical school sounds like a great solution if Tay doesn't pass this year, Val!

We're having a bad measles outbreak here in Orange County, too. Isn't it pretty much impossible to catch it if you've been vaccinated?

I hope that it doesn't come to him having to go there but I am sick of him not working hard at his current school and nobody giving a $hit.

We had an in service day today. Our school is going to a "blended learning" model next year. We will be getting a large amount of computers and having the kids do a chunk of their learning with an on line program and use that data to make our lesson plans. I think this will help out with the special ed population that I am struggling with since I am not a sp ed teacher. I think it will help all of the kids learn faster!

Michelle, i have lost a solid 10 lbs (no bread). i have another 5 lbs to lose before i am a comfortable D. the boobs are the first thing to go on me. my stomach is the hardest. to be honest, i still buy toliet cleaner. but i have used my cleaner on glass with no problem. i don't think there is a problem with bleaching. i haven't experienced one (though i never wear nice clothes anyway). the mixture is too weak. and when cleaning up after chicken i still use a weak bleach solution, but otherwise, always my little cleaner. i love it. and the best part is that i don't worry about the children using it. it is cheap and if i run out, it takes 5 minutes to make more.
