How about "The Christmas Train" by David Baldacci. I have not read it yet but it is our bookclub selection for December. It sounds like a good one. You can also read some classics like "A Christmas Carol" by Dickens or "The Gift of the Magi" by O'Henry. I think I am going to reread "the Gift of the Magi" this year. A couple of years ago we read "The Christmas Box" by Richard Paul Evans. That is a nice touching Christmas story. Last year we read "Holidays on Ice" by David Sedaris and it was so so. It was not funny like I expected. Last year I also read "A Christmas Memory" by Truman Capote. It is a few stories from his childhood Christmases.
