Nook, Kindle, or Other?

I can't decide what kind of e-reader to get!! Which one do you all have (if any)? My friend loves her Nook but I hear great things about the Kindle too. And then if I decide on a Kindle, what kind of Kindle? Regular, Fire, etc? Aaahhh! I'm not good with having lots of choices.

I have two kindles...kindle keyboard, and kindle fire...love them both...keyboard is easier to hold and read on....LOVE my kindles!!!
Amazon kindle customer service is outstanding!! Have not heard anything good about nook service... :)

I have a Kindle 3 that I really like except that it can't be used in Canada to borrow library books. I got a Kobo Mini for Christmas which I think I'm going to like for commute reading. I haven't set it up. I've heard that it can be difficult to do so hopefully it goes well.

Hi Jillybean - welcome to the Book Nook!
I have a Kindle DX, DH has a Kindle Touch and DS has a Kindle 3. I also have a Kindle Fire that I got last xmas. We are a Kindle family b/c Amazon has a huge amount of books and great prices and very important to us - the Kindle works internationally. We also signed up for Prime when I got the Fire so lots of tv shows/movies are available for free on instant streaming.
I prefer reading on the regular Kindle vs the Fire. The Kindle is more like paper where the Fire is like reading on a laptop. There is the new paperwhite Kindle which does have a backlight for reading at night.
I also suggest going to Best Buy or any other store where you can see the devices and play around with them.
