Yes read about 30 pages into it. It was soo grim. But that was just me. Others like you and Ruth might enjoy it. I was trying out new authors.

welcome..it is like some people may like semisweet chocolate and others..like the milk chocolate ..different tastes for me in the book. Do not let me stop you from enjoying it. Try the book one day.

Yes I know Ruth....Maybe I was not in the mood at the time. I think I read it in Jun.
Things were happening and I was in a worried state. It was not good for me to read that type at that time. Maybe I will read or try it again later.

I just found a new (to me) PN series that I'm enjoying so far. It's Riley Jenson Guardian by Keri Arthur.

I read a new series with that author. It was pretty good. Will check that series out , too.

Yes...it was my brother . He had an AVM stroke in Jun...then July had to have surgery and suffered a minor stroke. He is home now ...recovering . Thanks.
Yes after what happened, I was into light hearted books to read .
