Can anyone recommend authors that have a similar style to Meg Cabot or Jennifer Crusie? Modern, fun, lighthearted...

I would definitely recommend Jennifer Weiner, I have loved all her books!

I reccommend that you read The perils of Sisterhood by Amy Alden, it is defeintly fun and light-hearted. I believe that it is the first book by her.

Have you read anything by Marion Keyes?

I read "Faking It" by Jennifer Crusie and enjoyed it. I'd recommend "Guilty Feet" and "Spitting Feathers" both by Kelly Harte. Also the "Full" series (Full Blast, Full Bloom, etc.) co-written by Janet Evanovich and Charlotte Hughes. I also agree with those who mentioned Jennifer Weiner, she's fantastic.

I have read two books by Marian Keyes they are Sushi for beginners and Lucy Sullivan is getting married. They were both very quick and light reads and funny too.
