THis is GREAT!! Way to stick with it! We don't have lightning very often here at all. I kind of miss it, but I don't want us to get too much. Always starts a forest fire!!

That's wonderful, Dana! I know I could never get anything like that with my camera.

I have friends entering photos at the local county fair. Do you have something local you could enter?

I think it's a good idea too!! I wonder if our fair has a photography contest for adults? Hmmmm too late for this year, but worth checking out!

It can be depressing to watch the fires burn for what seems like months. This one actually has been going for a while! This day it really picked up the pace. The winds were really high. We sometimes get so many fires that if they are not threatening any life or property, they just let them burn. Only yucky part about that is if the wind is up, we breath it.
