I think a good place to start would be posting some goals.

Hi Karen!

I will join you in the ten pounds over ten weeks. I would be very happy with that.

Need to:

Start doing more meal planning and stop eating on the run so much.

Figure out how to fit some type of exercise into my daily routine.

I'm in!

I have the same weight loss goal as you Karen & Stacy, 10 lb in 10 weeks. That's about how much I have gained over the past year! :(

I am currently pretty good with exercise...I am signed up for 2 cardio classes (5 days a week total) and 1 strength training class (2 days a week).

Stacy, I just forwarded you an e-mail from Leanne Ely, FlyLady's nutritionist sidekick. It's about the effects of drinking soda on your weight.

My goal is about the same. 10 pounds. Currently I'm at 1x5.

My main goal is more exercise at the moment, as well as cutting down sweets.

I need to walk more in the evenings or mornings, bike as well. I have my beautiful bike, but either it is rainy or no one wants to go. I need to just leave them and go - they'd follow. I'll be working out at the gym daily once school starts.

I won't say no to dessert - not that I eat it often - but I need to eat more fruit and less processed again. I've been letting more white bread sneak in (bagels, toasted french for bruschetta, etc.) and with it adding yummies like Nutella to bagels, butter to pancakes this summer. I need to go back to making myself two pancakes with 1/4 cup berries in each, use only jam...

It is so easy to eat fresh in summer but also easy to be tempted by the girls treats and have 'just one'.

Thanks Karen.

I knew regular was better than diet.

I typically get one fountain a day.

I don't keep pop at home. I drink about a gallon of water a day. FWIW I have given pop up completely before for long periods of time and it has had no impact on my weight.

Only thing that has ever worked for me is walking 5+ miles a day...........
