By jove, I think it is working! LOL, good to know that going out and walking in that heat was worth something, because that was not fun. Anyway, my weight was at 1x6.6 this morning, which is down something good. The wii said 2.9 lbs, but that has me a little confused. Doesn't add up to me. But it is definitely down.
Did good on my exercising and eating breakfast goals; not so good on the desserts. LOL, I went home this weekend and my mom serves homemade desserts with every meal. Was not going to miss out on that. But I did try to be reasonable.
Hmm, let's see...lots of wine, muffins, and bagels over the weekend...not very good for a diet, but very fun! I've been struggling with the food aspect of healthy living more than the exercise.
Well I am not sure.
Last time i checked weight I had lost some.
I need to check again.
Over the weekend, I didn't over eat at all. We were too busy to stop and eat good meals. With me getting sick last night most of what i had yesterday was void.
I am not getting as much exercise as I want at all.
School starts here tomorrow so that will probably help some, as I will have to get up earlier.
Good Job Karen! you are doing an awesome job.
Great job Karen!
LOL, what I was doing was not working for me.
That would be eating desserts that Missy placed in front of me - brownies, ice cream, push-ups... Good healthy food in decent portions, with oatmeal and fruit for breakfast. Just more desserts that I normally eat. Note that SHE often passed them up. Also note that when I had the delicious Ghiradhelli heart attack brownie filled with more chocolate chips and frosting that I did NOT have the ice cream and whipped cream on it. Nor did I have a brownie with all the toppings for breakfast that my BIL served the kids. (neither did Natasha, but she did top her sliced bananas with whipped cream. That breakfast will be a happy memory for years to come. "Do you remember when we were at Aunties and...") Nor did I eat more than a few fries the two times I ate at Five Guys Burgers that trip. (Girls jumped when nephew suggested it in St.Louis. They are addicted I think!)
Then yesterday we were at the Fair. Started out the day sharing two bags of hot mini donuts (most to the girls). Shared: Pork chop on a stick, bites of two huge dill pickles, a twinkie roll (rolled in white chocolate, dipped in pecans with whipped cream) while Natasha had a deep fried twinkie (once is enough). A little bit of a blooming onion, the cornbread off Mira's corndog (she likes the hot dog part), and a strawberry ice cream cone at the Dairy Barn, along with a 5th glass of ice cold whole milk, and a glass of lemonade. See - not a lot of of food, but none of it GOOD for you lol!
Some swimming last week, but not heart rate raising, and almost 4 days sitting in the car, though I ate well those days too.
Back to exercising and eating out of the garden! Cooked oatmeal with fruit for breakfasts... Most meals will be provided this next weekend but a few of the attendees are either vegetarian or have severe allergies so will have good choices. Tasha & I are picking up our walking again this week.
I need to pick up a rice steamer before school starts. The girls love Rice balls in their lunches and I'll make my lunches at the same time too.

I did ok.
