Summer time weight loss challenge

Hey everybody! I'd like to take off a few pounds before I go to DC in July. I wondered if anyone would like to join me. It's not going to be a competition, just encouragement and accountability. Sound good?

If you are interested, post your beginning weight (you can mask out the middle number or any numbers you want, but we probably do need to know the last one!) and what you would like to lose over the next 6 weeks (challenge will run through the Monday after Independence Day). Then come back and check in with a how-you're-doing post every Monday. We can also chit chat about healthy eating or exercising or any topic that you think relates to a successful weight loss program.

Obviously, I'm in. I was 1x1.5 this morning. I would like to lose 1 lb a week, so that I can be at 1(x-1)5 by the time we leave. Imminently doable.

Stacy that is AWESOME! Way to go! I want to try Yoga this summer, hoping the classes will work with the girls camp/class schedules.

Two weeks ago at the Dr. office I was at 154.5. which puts me at a BMI of 25 - the top of acceptable, but not really where I feel my healthiest. That's 10 pounds from last

How is everybody doing?

I did weigh last week, but I forgot to post!

I am not doing so well. I was actually up half a pound this morning. I have a new resolve to get some exercise in every day, and then today I don't feel like moving at all. So that is not going so well either. Tomorrow is a new day, right?

Tomorrow is a new day! I needed to sleep in this morning, but I have my bag and gym clothes all laid out for tomorrow, so I'll post a weight then. Going for a neighborhood walk soon with the girls and if I can find my Denise Austin tummy tape I'll do that tonight.

Just go do something Karen - you'll feel better after you do!
